About Lifetime Services of Missouri

Lifetime Services of Missouri was founded on a simple belief: every young person with a developmental disability deserves meaningful experiences that help them grow, connect, and thrive. Based in Moberly, Missouri, we serve families across Randolph County and beyond through our Discovery Program.

Our Mission

Lifetime Services of Missouri exists to equip, empower, and educate youth with developmental disabilities through meaningful, real-world experiences. Based in Moberly, Missouri, we serve families across Randolph County and surrounding communities who are looking for a safe, engaging, and growth-focused environment for their children.

We don’t believe youth with developmental disabilities need to be managed — they need opportunities. Our role is to create those opportunities through hands-on activities, meaningful social connections, community engagement, and daily enrichment.

Our Vision

We envision a community where youth with developmental disabilities are embraced, celebrated, and empowered to discover their voice. We believe every young person deserves opportunities that build confidence, encourage independence, and unlock lifelong potential.

Through meaningful experiences, we imagine a future where ability is recognized over limitation — and every individual is given the tools to thrive.

Why We Exist

In many rural Missouri communities, families of youth with developmental disabilities face a gap: limited options for structured, engaging programming that goes beyond basic supervision. Lifetime Services of Missouri was created to fill that gap.

The Discovery Program grew out of a commitment to ensuring that young people in the Randolph County area have access to the same enriching, skill-building experiences available in larger cities. We believe that geography should never limit a young person’s potential — and that every community deserves a place where youth with developmental disabilities are not just included, but celebrated.

Today, families across the region trust the Discovery Program to provide structure during the school year, enrichment during the summer, and a community of support that extends well beyond program hours.

The Impact We’re Making

The Discovery Program isn’t just a program — it’s a community. Parents tell us their children come home happier, more confident, and more connected. Families who once struggled to find structured support now have a trusted partner in their child’s growth.

From the small victories — a new friendship, a first field trip, a moment of independence — to the big ones — improved behavior, increased confidence, a child who can’t wait to come back tomorrow — the Discovery Program is changing lives in the Randolph County area.

“Inclusion is not bringing people into what already exists. It is making a new space, a better space for everyone.”

That’s what we’re building — every single day.
